What are BugZip Luggage & Clothing Encasements?

The BugZip is a heavy-duty vinyl encasement that is specially designed to prevent bed bugs from infesting your luggage as you travel place to place. The product works by encasing luggage, garment bags, cloths and personal items and forming a physical barrier between the encased item and bed bugs—thereby reducing the chances of bed bugs infesting items within the encasement.

Because the BugZip is available in a variety of sizes, it can be used both for encasing luggage containers or protecting smaller personal for storage in dressers.

Luggage and clothing encasements such as the BugZip can be used as an important resource for frequent travelers as well as individuals currently experiencing an infestation. If utilized in the appropriate fashion, the BugZip will be a valuable preventative measure in the following areas:

The dresser-liner encasement is suitable for protecting small personal items such as clothing, electronics, cosmetics and other items that you want stored away in small locations. These encasements can also help protect against dust, allergens and moths.

Advisory: It is important to note the BugZip can help protect items stored within the encasement but will not prevent the transportation of bed bugs. Based on the BugZip’s function, there is strong indication that the encasement will assist in protecting items in an infested dwelling. However there is insufficient data to comment on how effective BugZip is for home use applications.
